G5 Tuning Riff

Every once in a while I'll re-explore a tuning. G5 (D-G-D-G)  is one of my favorites. It begs the question of whether you could get the same ideas in standard tuning, No. Can it replace standard tuning? No. It's also interesting that the tab transposes to standard notation so you can see what's happening musically.

It's essentially an open G tuning. Octaves become ninths, and minor 7ths become octaves.
