Sum IV.1: Shortet No. 8

Painting is Andrew Wyeth's Christina Olson (1947)

Songday 6/30/2001. This can be a music for two places: Kansas, and Maine, where Wyeth lived and had a farm. If it was an idea for a film, the narrative might be that returning home after traveling around the world, you'd return to a situation where someone falls ill, and the worldliness hits home. So music can be a way of extending the idea, much like what David Lynch did.
