A "Sky Frame" idea, with laser cuts made from pieces of sky between buildings as taken in photographs. In certain ways, they are an homage to Joseph Cornell's cut paper silhouettes as in "Varietes de Mineralogie". [More...]

9/30/1997             Roy Lichtenstein died. His use of ads, cartoons, etc. is similar to using samples in music. Typically I would have transcribed a sax solo and attempt to play it on the bass. In this case I paraphrased a Bach Partita in a Be Bop style and for the bass, but this is a sax version of the head played on the bass.
