Just discovered Jenni-Cam after hearing NPR interview. Interesting that now anyone can be their own TV show. There’s something so compelling about that. Jenni-cam now is so common on the Net that it now has a secondary meaning.

Lyric idea:

Once in the saddle he’s a changed man
Dreaming of the gold in the emerald land
Packing all his bags full of wanderlust
Riding down the mountain in a cloud of dust

[Pat and Anton: This is how Saddleman began]

Picked up plywood panels for paintings. While the staff was opening shipping crates in the back, two little stowaway cats emerged:

When I first discovered classical music in the early 80s, I was playing it all the time. I used to go through my Beethoven and Mozart periods, where I would blast the stereo, as well as other composers that I started to discover, like Stravinsky and Debussy. I bought all the study scores and was totally absorbed in it. There was a period where I didn't listen to anything but Mozart and then bought cutouts of all the Beethoven symphonies and study scores, which I still have. My favorite was the Seventh. It has interesting “songs” within it. Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale was also a favorite. I thought that was such a cool piece with its angularity. It’s these little discoveries that change your life in certain ways and changed my musical life a lot. The music had a sophistication to it that connected with the other music I was doing. But people don't sit around and blast Beethoven anymore. #riff
