Remodel I (AI Jazz)

My first AI jazz album using digitized cassette demos from the late 80s and early 90s. Most of it was never performed. or if it was, the performances were mediocre and not recorded well. The "restorations" are akin to the restorations of old films or recordings on 78s. 

The model (v4.5) sounds less than optimal (and better than v6), and interestingly has a warbly cassette sound, so it inherits the imperfections of the medium. The corollary with vinyl would be that the restorations would include crackles and pops. The lo-fi quality actually gives it a faux-retro sound, or the sound of a live recording where the tape had degraded.

To do restorations in a more musical way, you would let Suno create provisional versions from digitized tape, then transcribe them in some form to a MIDI file, and then use the audio file from that to create the final. 

• Be Bach: The original recording was me playing the bass melody, but the horns play it on the AI gen. Suno filled out the arrangement and even put in a trading 4s section. The reprise of the head has flubs in it, but it isn't an AI mistake. That's me flubbing it and it mirrored it. 
• Drop the Bar. Riff is the rhythm of those words. Changes are all correct mostly.
• Ace of Black Hearts. A pop song from 1996. The tenor sax plays the vocal melody. The bari sounds "farty"
• The Present Then. Very "Marian McPartland". Picked up all the changes. Some hallucinations but they're nice.
• True For You. I think at the time I was influenced by Jaco's 3 Views of Secret. Hallucinates a "B" section because it probably couldn't interpret it directly. 
• Heaven Eleven. A piece where all the changes are 7(#11) chords. AI "smooth-jazzes" it, but it's ok.
• Studioliner. Bad sax sound and odd stereo phasing, Chord are wrong in spots. Nice piano solo but it's a solo over some other changes somewhere else. It's a weird feeling that someone is improvising somewhere in the universe and it turns up in your recording. 
• Expecting the Call. Horrible sound overall. Some chords are wrong. 
• Astrolabe No. 7 (Begin the Ending). The original idea was played on a bass, but then scored for brass choir, which I used as the AI seed. AI put in a rhythm section arrangement.
