6/5/1898

This obviously wasn't painted on a Sunday (or perhaps it was) but it feels like a Sunday in Paris in June. I am using it here as an image for the diary entry of Count Harry Kessler.

Paris. Diary entry: thoughts about Germans: not industrious, dutiful, only works for money or out of habit. Thinks German talents are half-talents, born salesman, commentator, a daydreamer and beer-drinker.
